Troon Country Club surrounded by the beauty of the Sonoran Desert, located in Scottsdale, Arizona is seeking a highly engaging Executive Chef. The individual selected for the Executive Chef role will play a critical part in the following key responsibilities:
Manage all facets of the Food and Beverage Kitchen department including staffing, menu planning, ordering, vendor monitoring, food production, inventory, catering and budgeting.
Creates theme menus, ideas for ice sculptures, decorations, banquets and special events.
Directs and maintains ordering amounts, inventory levels, timing of orders, receiving, invoice settling, and equipment maintenance.
Maintains quality of food products and ensures consistency in food delivery and standards.
Manages department members that may include, but is not limited to: Chefs, Cooks, Stewards.
Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Develops ongoing training programs.
Monitors business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs and other expenses.
Implements and maintains excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction.
At least 5 years previous hands on experience in culinary / kitchen operation in a supervisory or management capacity; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous Club experience at a Chef level required.
